sweat
The clue is in the name here, expect a sweaty workout. No barbells, no complex gymnastics, just pure high energy work. These longer workouts keep your heart pounding and your body moving. Simple, effective and built to burn fat while building serious endurance. A community favourite.
team wod
Our Saturday favourite and a true community builder. Team up in pairs or small groups and tackle a tough, fun workout together. Expect a bit of everything, high energy, hard work, and good vibes
open gym
Your time, your focus. time on sharpening your axe, catch up on a workout you’ve missed, or just train your way.
crossfit teens & kids
Our Teens & Kids program (ages 7–15) is a fun, scalable strength and conditioning class designed for growing athletes. We focus on teaching correct movement, building confidence, and keeping workouts varied to prevent overuse injuries common in sports. Each session blends age-appropriate skills, functional fitness, and plenty of fun helping your child grow stronger, more skilled, and more confident!
Nutritional services
Nutrition can be a minefield when trying to decipher what, how much and when to eat. At CFR we want you to use nutrition to improve your performance both in and out of the gym.
We have dedicated nutritionist on site and run regular seminars, whether this is fat loss, muscle gain or overall health and wellbeing.

I have really enjoyed being a member of CrossFit Ripon. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and always willing to help you move at the pace you set. As a member, I’ve felt supported from day one.
What I love most is how inclusive and welcoming the community is. Whether you are taking your first steps to getting fitter, returning after time away, or already experienced; you are treated with the same respect and enthusiasm. Workouts are scalable for all levels, and there is no judgment - just a lot of motivation and support. The variation of classes on offer allow you the chance to focus on areas away from the more complicated CrossFit movements.
If you’re thinking about joining but feeling nervous, don’t be. This is a place where beginners are embraced, progress is celebrated, and everyone roots for each other.

I joined in August as a complete newbie, having never really spent much time in a gym before. Every workout is demonstrated and explained to you beforehand, and the coaches are always there to help you out and improve. I’m feeling the strongest and fittest I ever have and it’s only been a few months! Going to CrossFit Ripon is the highlight of my day.

Having recently moved to the area and was disappointed with the gym we had joined, we looked at CrossFit Ripon, went to meet Mick & have a look at the box. From that 1st conversation with him & meeting others there, we were made to feel welcome immediately. Both my husband & I were new to CrossFit & were very apprehensive going to the 1st few classes & trying new moves but everyone is so friendly & supportive. It’s not just a gym ….. it’s a community. We’re absolutely loving it, the coaches talk through every workout and demonstrate all the moves & scaled down versions if required which is brilliant. There’s no pressure at all, everyone is on their own fitness journey. Mick & Sarah have got this place just perfect …..Come join the family 👏👏

CrossFit Ripon is a great CrossFit hub and community. My strength, cardiovascular fitness, muscle and endurance health have improved so much, my Apple Watch statistics prove it! Having always enjoyed running and exercise, CrossFit Ripon changed the game for me, it’s brought me such breadth to my fitness training and pushes me to my limits.
Alongside my fitness, the options for how you are a member are great. I’ve had a variety of memberships since starting 18 months ago; from unlimited couples, to hybrid only and pay-as-you-go, as someone who works away and in London a lot, I really value the options and flexibility.
Last but not least, the people are wonderful, it’s an inclusive place welcoming members of every background, and you truly are welcomed in & looked after like a part of the family

Great, inclusive CrossFit box.
I’d never CF’d before, but I wanted to strengthen my side muscles to support my running and cycling distancing. Mick, Sarah and everyone at the club were all really welcoming. The classes are varied (CF, hybrid, sweat, strength), everything is explained, and it’s helpfully knackering when you throw yourself into it. I get so much more out of exercising with people than on my own, and I’ve paired with lots of different abilities. I even take my 16yo daughter now, who also loves it (especially the gymnastics strengths sesh).
I would defo recommend for interested first timers would want a good work out.
